Chris and I spent our anniversary at the Balantyne Hotel
and Spa in Charlotte. It was REALLY nice - I had a great
spa treatment, and we enjoyed a great dinner and breakfast
just the two of us.

Here is the view from our room:

We took the kids on a weekend camping trip to the Pisgah

National Forrest. It's a camping trip that the church I grew

up in has been doing every year for 40 years now. My parents

and several other families that I grew up around camped with us.

Rainbow Falls (we hiked a short trail with the kids
to see this neat waterfall...Reid walked the whole way!)

Sarah wanted to see exactly how dirty she could

get, so she stuffed her shirt full of these nasty, dirty, sooty

campground gravel rocks. Many were entertained.....Mommy's

eyes rolled....
